Brannavan Gnanalingam is a novelist, reviewer and lawyer based in Wellington, New Zealand. He has published five novels through New Zealand publisher, Lawrence & Gibson. His last novel, Sodden Downstream (2017) was shortlisted for the 2018 Acorn Foundation Prize for Fiction at the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards, while his previous novel, A Briefcase, Two Pies and a Penthouse (2016) was longlisted for the 2017 award.
