It’s been a long and eventful year here at the SRB and our annual program is soon to draw to a close. We’d love to be inviting you to an in-person party to celebrate all the writers who’ve contributed to the SRB in 2021 but Covid restrictions have defeated us.
Instead, we’ll be gathering on Zoom one last time for readings, thanks, wildly digressive sidebar chats and a preview of what’s in store for 2022. Please join us! Register here.
Unsurprisingly, Covid and lockdown restrictions have been a frequent theme of the SRB program in 2021, and this event will feature short readings from essays that reflect on the many ways the pandemic has shaped us as readers and writers.
Timmah Ball: Reading Tony Birch in a Pandemic
Miro Bilbrough: Five Ways
Elizabeth Bryer: Plan B
Huyen Hac Helen Tran: Scraps
Date: Thursday 2 December
Time: 4.00-4.45pm AEST
Hosted by SRB editor Catriona Menzies-Pike
Please register via Eventbrite and we’ll send out a Zoom link on the day.
