Parramatta: A Dictionary of Place and Memory - M

On the way to the Byron Writers Festival and I am seated next to the writer Meg Keneally on the bus.

I mention I’m writing a Parramatta Dictionary and she asks if it would interest me that she’s a patron of the Female Factory site.

I call it serendipity and we proceed to have an extensive conversation about all things Parramatta.
