It is an iconic square with thirty-three palm trees, invoking the number important to the Freemasons.
I associate late afternoon with Uruguay: with silver, with beautiful lighting, with the shadows creeping across the day.
I connect the palm trees in Parramatta Square with their Uruguayan equivalents across the Pacific.
Whenever it is close to sunset, stand in the square and look to PHIVE and then beyond in the direction west.
