Parramatta: A Dictionary of Place and Memory - S

I have this vision.

I’ll print two copies of a map of Parramatta.

On one, I’ll mark the shade in the city beneath the midday sun.

On the second, I’ll mark the location of trees. A small green circle for a small tree and a larger circle for one that towers over the street.

I stay close to the trees. I find their presence comforting.
