Writing a Dictionary

What is writing this dictionary doing to my memory?

 It makes me realise how many buried experiences I have and it gives me an opportunity to draw them up and put them to story.

 It is like taking an event and putting music to it to give it shape and atmosphere.

 Here the details are mine, the focus mine, in connection with a place. And what has been sitting there in the background is called forth and then arranged into the structure of a dictionary.

 This not a narrative necessarily but it is an act of structuring at the very least.
