Sydney Review of Books 2025 Reader Survey

Since 2013, Sydney Review of Books has served as a platform for Australian literary-critical culture, featuring longform reviews, literary essays, and interviews from established writers and emerging practitioners alike. Our goal is to set the bar for editorial rigour, intellectual ambition, and formal innovation. Now we’re asking you to help us improve the ways we serve our readership and the Australian literary community at large.  

We invite you, dear SRB supporter, to fill out the Sydney Review of Books 2025 Reader Survey below or at this link. The information collected from this survey will be used to improve SRB’s publishing program and help us plan for the road ahead.   

As a token of our appreciation, the first 20 individuals to fill out the reader survey and email us by the 27th of July will receive an iconic SRB tote bag and book handpicked by a member of the team. Further details are provided at the end of the survey. Please note that to be eligible you must have an Australian postal address.  

Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all. Any demographic information collected in this survey and used for the purposes of grant acquittal and reporting will be de-identified. We won't share your data with any third parties. As a university-based organisation, we are compliant with Western Sydney University’s privacy policies, which you can read here.
