Alys Moody

Alys Moody is a Lecturer in English at Macquarie University in Sydney, where she teaches and writes about modernism and contemporary literature. She is currently finishing a book, entitled Aesthetic Autonomy in Crisis: The Art of Hunger and the Afterlives of Modernism, on the use of hunger as a metaphor for the crisis of aesthetic autonomy in the twentieth century. With Stephen J. Ross, she is co-editing of an anthology of source texts for global modernism.
