Gregory O’Brien

Wellington-based writer and visual artist Gregory O’Brien has published many poetry and non fiction books over the past three decades. Since 2008, he has also editioned numerous etchings at the Cicada Press, University of New South Wales–often working with his long-time collaborator Niuean-based John Pule. He has written about Australian artists including Fiona Hall, Noel McKenna, John Peart and Rosalie Gascoigne. In 2010 Piper Press published his monograph on Sydney-based painter Euan Macleod.
