Hawanatu Bangura
Hawanatu Bangura is an Afro-Australian award-winning filmmaker, social worker and entrepreneur. She has written, produced and directed over 12 short films in various genres including dance, experimental, drama, documentary and animation. Her films have won awards and screened at major film festivals both in Australia and overseas. She recently founded a storytelling agency Mahawa Creative that crafts impactful videos for organisations and provides creative healing self-care workshops for women.
