Kevin Foster is an Associate Professor in the School of English Communications and Performance Studies at Monash University. He is the author of Fighting Fictions: War, Narrative and National Identity (1999) and Lost Worlds: Latin America and the Imagining of Empire (2009), and the editor of What are we doing in Afghanistan? The Military and the Media at War (2009) and The Information Battlefield: Representing Australians at War (2011).
