Mark Steven is a Lecturer in Film Studies at the University of New South Wales, where he also directs the Modernist Studies Network. He has two books due out in 2017: Red Modernism: American Poetry and the Spirit of Communism (Johns Hopkins UP) and Splatter Capital (Repeater).
