Adele Dumont is an Australian writer and critic. Her first book, No Man is an Island, charts her experiences teaching English to asylum seekers in detention. Her second, The Pulling, is an account of living with trichotillomania, and was shortlisted for the 2025 Prime Minister's Literary Awards.
