Henry Chase Richards

Henry Chase Richards is an Eora-based writer and amphibian. They are the Founder and Director of Fondue and a former editor of Soft Stir magazine. For more than a decade, Henry has been involved in community arts projects around Copenhagen and Sydney. Currently, they’re chipping away at a doctorate in Literature and Creative Writing at Western Sydney University. Henry was a recipient of the Varuna Whitlam Essay Residency Fellowship for 2025 – they are also the (unofficial) poet laureate of Australian rugby league.
