Melissa Fagan

Melissa Fagan is the author of What Will Be Worn (Transit Lounge, 2018), which was longlisted for the Mark and Evette Moran nib Literary Award in 2019. Her short fiction and nonfiction has appeared in Griffith Review, Island, Overland, Kill Your Darlings and Causeway/Cabhsair: A Magazine of Scottish and Irish Writing, among others. Melissa was awarded her doctorate in creative writing from Curtin University and the University of Aberdeen in 2024, and has taught and lectured in creative writing and literature for over a decade, most recently at Griffith University. She lives on the unceded lands of the Bundjalung nation.
