Parramatta: A Dictionary of Place and Memory - C

Yesterday the metro line from Chatswood to Sydenham opened.

In a few years the metro station will be operational in Parramatta.

Perhaps I will stay up all night to make sure I catch the first ever metro.

It is a variation on clubbing. Rather than partying all night, a person camps out at a station to be one of the first to step into Club Metro.

On that day, it will be a party, making for an unforgettable night.
