Night Life

(Written on a bench on the street outside the Riverside)

In the interest of knowing what’s available in Parramatta at night, I go out, camera in hand.

 Part of my mind is recording details and another part is counting what’ll soon be gone.

 I care more for cafés than restaurants, and there are few places I’d be comfortable going where I wouldn’t feel I was holding up a table with a coffee when everyone else is having a meal.

 If I’m after a coffee in the night, I tend to go to Granville or else it’s XS Espresso. A café has a different dynamic and I wish there were many more places to go for a writing session at night.
