Old Government House and the Euphoric One

I once held a birthday party at the restaurant attached to Old Government House in Parramatta Park.

The theme was red and black due to that Wanderers team.

The party was followed by a trip to the Central Coast where the Wanderers played the Mariners to go top of the table in their inaugural season.

I will never forget the crowd chanting we are number one and the general euphoria of the night.
