Parramatta: A Dictionary of Place and Memory - P
My number one consideration when I go out at night is where I will park and what the lighting will be like before I venture to where we’re meant to meet.
Most evenings I go somewhere other than Parramatta because of these factors. If I go out three times in a week and it’s $10 each time for parking, then I’d prefer to go somewhere else.
The lighting has improved around the city but certain pockets remain very dark.
In the meantime, I tend to go to Sydney city or Granville or any café where I can park close by such as XS Espresso or Profiterole on the highway.
