Kinchem Hegedus and Peter Barge generously partnered with the Stella Prize to offer listed writers a stay at their property in the Southern Highlands.
This was useful for putting together The Lovers and to type some of the stories in Politica.
What works well about the Life at Springfield retreat is that there is no obligation to produce anything and there isn’t the stress of an application process.
Beyond the friendship and the hospitality and the beauty of being at Springfield, I have spent days dreaming there, allowing mind projects to gather into definite shape.
Anyone who can offer something similar to artists, I can assure you its value is priceless.
