Tram Stop

Parramatta: A Dictionary of Place and Memory - T

It is peaceful to sit at the tram stop at Parramatta Square.

The benches are new and comfortable and I can see where the metro is being built.

Straight ahead is the back of the Roxy.

Today I thought I’ll get out my Opal card and use it to catch the tram, but it won’t be taking passengers for a while yet.

Overhead on the board the next tram heads to Westmead.

On the opposite platform, one day a tram will be taken towards Carlingford.
