Bill Wilkie’s first book, The Daintree Blockade: the Battle for Australia’s Tropical Rainforests, won the Premier’s Award at the Queensland Literary Awards in 2017. He has been published in Griffith Review, QWeekend, The Saturday Paper and Ecotone. His next book is about the Cedar Bay hippie community and infamous police raid. He lives in far north Queensland.
